Recognise pressure language
Messages such as “only a few left”, “last chance” or countdown timers can encourage quick decisions. They are not automatically false, but they should not replace checking the offer.
Pause and verify
Refresh the page, compare the offer elsewhere and read the product and delivery terms. If the timer resets or the same scarcity message appears repeatedly, treat it cautiously.
Do not rush payment
Take time to review the seller, total price, return conditions and payment method. A legitimate offer should still make sense after you have read the details.
CheckoutLens can identify some urgency wording, but it cannot determine whether a stock or time claim is true.
